SFÉRA, a.s. will represent Slovakia at the EXPO DUBAI 2020

SFÉRA, a.s. will be among exhibitors in the Slovak pavilion at the Expo 2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Company will present its unique solutions and products that make a significant contribution to energy transformation and increasing energy efficiency in various sectors of the economy.

Expo 2020 will open the gates for exhibitors and visitors on October 3, 2021 after a one-year postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For a six months period, exhibition will allow selected exhibitors to represent their countries with unique projects, services or products. The main theme of the exhibition "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future" is a symbol of innovation and progress. Following the main idea, three sub-topics "Opportunity", "Mobility" and "Sustainability” were created. Individual exhibitors will fulfill the content of these topics gradually in 14-day thematic units: Climate & Biodiversity, Space, Urban & Rural, Golden Jubilee, Knowledge & Learning, Global Goals, Health & Wellness, Food & Agriculture & Livelihood, Water.

SFÉRA, a.s. will participate in the period from October 30 till November 13, 2021. Company will represent Slovakia in the topic Urban & Rural, which is focused on innovations in the field of cities and municipalities, energy, waste management and areas related to the sustainable development of society. Companies such as Tesla Liptovský Hrádok, ESET, MTS, Fosali, Nice Visions, Project M1 and others will participate with us in the Slovak pavilion.

Interesting feature of this year is the way of presentation of exhibitors, which will be based on digital presentation on panels with LEAP contactless technology. Digital technologies will dominate the exhibition space and visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted virtually with the individual exhibits through videos, 3D scans and other interactive presentations.

Systems developed by our company are used by national short-term electricity market operators in Slovakia and Ukraine, by transmission system operators, by distribution companies, by suppliers and traders in the energy market. EXPO is an important international exhibition, that aims to present industry and culture of individual countries. Its official organizer is BIE – Bureau of International Expositions. It is based on traditional French exhibitions. The first World Expo was held in the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park, London in 1851. Since that year, it was organized 51 times in various countries around the world.
